The Keremeos Royal Purple has currently 14 eager members that are closely connected to our community – chances are low that you’ll visit a local event without one of these ladies involved! They spend a lot of their free time volunteering to raise funds to support the local food bank, recreational programs, schools or the nearby hospital.
One of their greatest accomplishments are the so-called Handbags for Hope, for which they collect donated purses and fill them with all kinds of items, mostly toiletries, for people in need. This campaign runs in November and December of each year.
Keremeos Royal Purple also offers catering services for events, like weddings, family gatherings or funerals – and who doesn’t love a homemade meal?
This crew of lovely women also spends at least one fun and relaxing day a month together – craft afternoons, movie nights, you name it!
