Taking place over several days, this series offers a unique platform for community members to engage in meaningful ways – whether they’re interested in contributing to local government, supporting emergency services, enhancing their professional skills or joining a volunteer board. The Changemakers Series connects individuals with the tools, knowledge and opportunities needed to make a tangible impact, all while emphasizing inclusivity, transparency and professionalism.
This event series plays a critical role in strengthening local networks and fostering a resilient economy. We encourage advance registration to help us prepare materials and seating, but walk-ins are also welcome (space permitting).
Can I attend just one workshop or do I need to commit to the whole series?
You’re welcome to attend whichever sessions interest you – come for one, or join us for the entire series! Absolutely no pressure.

Where are the events held?
Events will take place in accessible community venues across the Lower Similkameen. Venue details will be provided in advance of each session. We’re hoping to expand to venues throughout the whole Similkameen!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
We choose all venues with accessibility in mind, but can’t guarantee wheelchair accesibility. Please get in touch with us in case you have any accessibility
